ASK THE EXPERT originally developed as the QUICK FACTS CHANNEL has been one of the most successful direct marketing website vehicles over the last 12 years. Steve Olschwanger originally developed this marketing tool for the Houston Post back in 1993. In 2003 Steve added Google as a partner in order to supply sponsors with tracking.
It became so popular with consumers as well as exclusive sponsors that Steve started offering it to other newspapers around the country, which enjoyed the same success. It became apparent in some markets the daily newspaper wasn’t the most popular local website so he expanded to radio, TV, and yellow page directories.
Steve’s theory was to hook up with the top media in each market whether it was the daily newspaper, radio stations, television stations, or yellow page directories. QUICK FACTS/ASK THE EXPERT offered informative information in the areas of HEALTH, LEGAL, FINANCIAL, and HOME IMPROVEMENT with each heading offering 20- 50 educational topics.
For the sponsor it meant target marketing at an affordable price, exclusivity per topic, customized information, and a banner ad that linked right to the sponsors website promoted by the top media in the market..
The cost ranges from $150 per month per category to $300 a month per category depending on the size market. If a company secures more than one category they can realize great discounts as well as if the sponsor pays 90 days in advance there are additional discounts. Many of our sponsors approach us wanting additional discounts for paying 6 months to one year in advance which we also offer.
Our agreement is for one year but if you aren’t satisfied with the results after 90 days you can cancel without penalty.
We also offer premium sponsorship banners on the main menu page of HEALTH, LEGAL, FINANCIAL, and HOME IMPROVEMENT. These premium banners are seen by everyone that comes to the main headings. These banner range from $300 a month to $750 per month depending on the size of the market.
